Original works of alcohol ink art by Laura McGann are used to create these one-of-a-kind earrings. Each earring is created by cutting selecting a small section of a painting, fitting and setting within the bezel, and then finishing to a hard surface with high-gloss epoxy resin.
This is a really unique pair with good brush movement, almost like a landscape with yellow sky and blue, green ground. Gold ink flakes make it special!
Pairs are created to "match" as closely as possible by cutting a painting section in half (one for each ear); thus each earring has its own ink movement and pattern. Set in an antique gold finish bezel and matching earring wire, these beauties hang approximately 2 1/2" from the ear.
Nunn Design Brass Ear Wires are lead-free and manufactured in the United States of America. Nunn Design ear wires are electroplated using nickel-free precious metals; copper, 24k gold, and .999 fine silver.
Paintings are made with alcohol ink on YUPO or NARA substrate. ArtResin is a non-toxic epoxy engineered to offer the most efficient yellowing protection on the market. Its advanced stabilization additives provide superior, long-term clarity.
