The first Moravian Star is known to have originated in the 1830s at the Moravian
Boys’ School in Niesky, Germany, as a geometry lesson or project. Now, in many
forms, it is popular throughout the world.
In this advanced 3-hour class, you will make a 12-pointed star from colorful stained glass.
**Grounded Place's comprehensive Beginners Workshop (or) Suncatchers workshop is a pre-requisite for this advanced Moravian Star Workshop.**
All patterns, glass, tools, and additional materials are included in the workshop fees.
Your instructor for these workshops is Grounded Place Artisan Peter Grandy. With
over 30 years of glass experience, Peter is a patient teacher, willing to share all his
tips, techniques, and lessons learned over the years.
