This 3-hour workshop is meant to give you an introductory taste for working with stained glass. During this workshop, you will cut, foil, and solder a colorful 4-6-piece sun catcher to beautify any window in your home.

Please choose from the workshop dates provided below (or email us with your interest if none of these fit your schedule). Saturday workshops are held from 1 - 4pm.

All patterns, glass, tools, and additional materials are included in the workshop fees.
You will have a variety of glass patterns to choose from, as well as a large selection
of stained glass.

Your instructor for these workshops is Grounded Place Artisan Peter Grandy. With
over 30 years of glass experience, Peter is a patient teacher, willing to share all his
tips, techniques, and lessons learned over the years.

Class size is limited to 5 to allow for personalized attention. You must be 21+ to attend.

All workshops are held at the Grounded Place Studio (4th floor), inside the Holliston
Mill, 24 Water Street, Holliston, MA 01746.

Safety
The studio is well-ventilated and appropriate for working with stained glass, solder, and related materials. Safety glasses and gloves are available. A first-aid kit is on
location to assist with any small cuts or minor mishaps. You will be required to sign
an Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form prior to starting your first
workshop. Those pregnant or with serious respiratory issues are advised to consult
a physician prior to signing up.

Building Access
The Grounded Place studio is located in a historic building and is not handicapped
accessible. You will climb two sets of stairs to reach our location on the top floor.
You can park at the side or behind the building. The best door to use is at the back of
the building, up a set of stairs, adjacent to a loading dock.
